I can’t even write like I’ve traveled around the place much since I’ve been here. The extent of my travels has been in Yangon where I live, Pyay, Mandalay and Nay Pyi Daw and those were for school field trips. But Myanmar has some pockets of gems, outside of it’s dirty façade. It is a place rich in history so if that’s your thing, there’s a lot of that here. And religion and culture are very interwoven, kinda like in The Bahamas, only, instead churches on every corner, there are many pagodas (temples). Their intricate designs and gold tops are often a lure for tourists.
