Moving

Year in Colorado

As I’m documenting this new journey, it dawned on me that I hadn’t quite publicly shared or documented my time in Colorado. It was quite an amazing year there and my first “big girl job” post graduating with my master’s degree. I got to work at an awesome middle school “down valley” as they call it and began my career in school counseling (DON’T call it guidance!)

The move took place the day after the U.S. Independence Day celebrations. Sally, Jennifer and Sid helped me load up their cars and we were on our way.

There were many firsts. I went skiing. I went river rafting. I drove on a highway by myself. Oh yea, I got my license to do that.

So many wonderful memories in Gypsum and Eagle. I miss it.
