I wish I had a definitive answer for today’s daily prompt. Luxury feels more subjective because luxury is the state of great comfort and extravagant living and in economics, luxury goods are in contrast to necessity goods.
My initial thoughts were manicures but pandecoup and moving back to the west has proven differently. Then I thought about air conditioning and yet again, I’ve managed without it. Then I thought about electricity, but even that too, I’ve gone without for months at a time.
Life is all dust. We’re here and then we’re not. Everything is seasonal, so I can’t say that there’s one luxurious thing I can’t live without because I’ve had seasons of enjoying bi-weekly massages, monthly mani-pedis and dining out weekly. I’ve also had seasons of not or not a lots.
Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content.
